16 Days in WA - 2018

16 Days in WA - 2018

The 16 Days in WA to Stop Violence Against Women campaign takes place from 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, to 10 December, which is Human Rights Day.

Based on the international 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, 16 Days in WA is Western Australia’s contribution to these efforts and aims to raise awareness, motivate positive actions across Western Australia, and advocate on behalf of organisations that are opposing violence against women.

The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions support the campaign in several ways. In the shop, all Park Passes sold between 25th November to 10th December 2018 will feature orange branding, and display the #16DaysInWA tag, as a reminder that we all have a role to play in changing the conversation that allows violence against women to go unchallenged.
