Chuditch is characterised by its white spots, which are thought to help camouflage it while it’s on the move at night. Male adults can weigh up to 1.5 kilograms while female can weigh up to one kilogram. Chuditch were once widespread across 70 per cent of Australia but are now found only in the south-west of Western Australia.
