The contrast of orange lichen (Caloplaca sp.) on dark granite boulders is a common feature along the shorelines of Western Australia's parks. Lichen are not jhust confined to the coast; they can be found in most WA parks. This photograph was taken on the rocks of William Bay in Western Australia's south-west.
