These attractive and solitary anemones (Pachycerianthus sp.) are found in soft sand and mud in the Swan River and Cockburn Sound. Their white tentacles radiate out to the size of a dinner plate to capture tiny particles of food which it passes to its mouth. This image was taken by photographer Peter Nicholas in Perth's Swan River Marine Park.
